Currently running the 87 tune and even this one is a big improvement over the stock tune. With the 91 tune I cannot keep the tires from spinning and with the price of fuel and winter coming I reverted back to the 87 tune. When using the 91 tune you have to disable MDS, if you don't there is a noticeable surge when it goes between 4 and 8 cylinders. I still use 89 fuel with the 87 tune. The cortex allows for a custom tune as well, you select one of the canned tunes and via the advanced menu you can change various parameters before uploading to the truck. It's a great tuner for the money.
