Default Vent Visors

So I just got some Putco Vent Visors for my 2012 Ram 1500 Laramie Ltd. I installed then as per manufacturers instructions, (These are in channnel type). I tried to close my window and it hit the bottom of the visor and then reversed. (Auto up/down windows). I held the window up button and it went all the way up. When it got to the top I let the button go and it reversed and went down a couple inches. I held the button again and it went up and stayed there.
So my obsevation is this. There must be a torque setting similar to a garage door opener that reverses if an object gets in the way. In my case it is the in channel vent visor. Does anybody know if I can either change the torque setting or disable the auto up/down feature.

No there is no way to adjust it that I know of. Honestly as the visors "settle" it won't happen anymore. I think it happened once or twice right after I installed mine and then after sitting with the window up for a night it hasn't happened since.

I also have the Putco's. They fit so well I removed the two sided tape. Windows never had that issue.

I wonder if that's part of the issue? Mine didn't have the tape in it so I guess that would make it just about --> I-I <-- much thinner.
