Default OEM Projector LED Marker Lights Surging?

I swapped out my OEM Quad headlights for OEM Projectors using a plug-n-play wiring harness from Retro Shop. I just noticed that the amber marker lights were surging a slight bit in brightness, with the engine running and the vehicle in park. I was looking at it close up from a couple feet away… it doesn't flicker out, just appears to be surging a slight bit.

Is this normal? Can someone with OEM Projectors confirm if theirs does this too please?

They might be doing it due to the current running through the vehicle when it is in park. Most vehicle will do that when the vehicle is running and in park because of when the fan is running in the vehicle. Now does it do it every now and then or is it every second they kinda flicker or surge?

It's not every second… I checked another RAM with
OEM projectors and it did the same thing.

Can't say I've ever noticed, but I also don't stare at the turn signals from outside the truck. Where the headlights on? normal halogen bulbs in lamps or HID?

Chuck, it's the normal OEM bi-halogen projectors, and I was only looking at it closely for comparison because I swapped my quad headlights for the projectors… wanted to make sure the wiring was all good and the light output was equal to the RAMs coming from the factory with projectors.

The funny thing is my DRLs are still running through the high beams of the projectors, whereas everyone else in Canada with projectors have the DRLs in their LED signals.

Then its probably because of the current shifts in the truck when running on idle. I wouldnt be worried about it.

Also, not every vehicle is set up with DRLs. If others have their LED signals on and not the heads then its because they are running the vehicle with the knob turned to the parking light switch. My truck doesnt come with DRL so I have to manually turn on my parking lights when I get in the truck. There are others out there that dont have to do anything because their truck is set up with DRL.
