Most run it to a separate switch

Hm I wonder if I could just run them to the switch I have for my grill LED's.. I gotta do 6000k HID fogs though or it will look funny to me.

I will be looking into this.. If so.. I can always just make up another switch.. There is never enough switches and guages.... I am guessing just a similar wiring for my LED strip.. Battery to a fuse, fuse to a switch, wire from switch to the lights and ground off of the lights.

Question - Instead of drilling into that bar to mount lights, could you not use some type of clamps? Has anyone gone this avenue?
