TheBlackHemi; that was a perfect example of manual shifting for ArcticWhite. Hell, you were right at 90mph before you shifted to 4th. I'd say for ArcticWhite, easy horsepower boost when your baby kicks in to 4th......................100shot Nitrous baby! Your buddy's got boost and you'll have a boost!

You're saying physically hold the shifter to the left and it'll shift through the gears or are you bumping it over for each gear change?
Traction control on or off?

A tune will really help us by adding some HP, lowering or removing torque management and raising shift points so when you hit the next gear, your RPMs don't drop as much.

Yeah Physically hold it to your left and it will shift for you all the way through 1st,2nd,2nd prime, then 3rd....you just have to shift into 4th. You can also just leave it in 3rd and it will do the same but to me it pulls harder when you hold it to the left, especially the shift from 1st to 2nd. Just try it out and you'll see what I'm talking about. As long as you got good tires I would tire traction off but either way with it on or off I've actuall y had it engage traction control for whatever reason. Hopefully will have our trucks tuned by next month and really get to start to move. I've got my trinity in hand just waiting on the release....its been a 1 1/2 years waiting.

I'm gonna try this today. I have always started in 2nd, let it shift by itself, and then shift to 2nd prime.

Interesting...who figured out that little trick?
Just to clarify...drop it into 1st and hold it left, it'll up shift through 3rd then manually click it into 4th?

Thank you guys for the pointer on the hold to the left through prime. Can't wait to try that out instead of the bump through each gear method.

I'm curious as to what that does. I don't see how doing that would change anything, I'd think it'd just shift like normal.

I can't try it as I don't have a console shift and this is JMO but I think it might just be perception...?

I do know the 3rd gen guys would hold it down a gear to keep if from up shifting through the gates, but I don't think that's what this is, unless I misunderstood.

If you watch the video, you will see it's not perception. Watch the rpm's, not the speedometer and you will see the difference....especially 2nd prime.
