Default I need help with wheels :(

I am looking for a set of 22's to put on my CC sport. I have it dropped with 2/4 bell tech kit so I don't know if 305/40/22 will work or rub to much. I want a nice set of 5 spoke design with a lip. Something like the Boss 335 or so. I don't want anything that is black and chrome mixed. I will most likely go with chrome I kinda like the look of everything blacked out except wheels. I want to stay with 22's to try and keep the performance up.

My 305/40/22's just barely rub the sway bar at full lock...it's a bigger diameter Hellwig bar though. Just watch your backspacing and you'll be fine with that drop.
I play with this all the time when figuring out wheel stuff.

I went with Liquid Metal Lithium wheels in 20"x9", they do make this same wheel in 22". I like it because you don't see it everywhere. You should see the quality of the chrome in person. Got mine from DiscountTire on-line.

If you can find a 22" wheel in a 9" width that you like I would go that route, or if you go 10", get a wheel with a little less offset than the SRT's (mine are +25.4). It's the width and/or the offset of the wheel that's going to cause you to rub a little on the swaybar at full-lock. The size of the tire is'nt as critical, as I've read numerous posts of guys with SRT's rubbing with 285/45's, 305/40's, and 305/45's (which is what I have). You also could run 1/4" or 5mm spacers, or just do what I do, which is not turn the wheel to the full-lock position. Good luck with your choice!

Also, I have seen pics of your truck and it looks slightly lower than a 2/4, so I would be more concerned about tire diameter. I would stay away from 305/45's, as they are about the same height as the OEM tires, and I could see you bottoming out easily. I would go with a 305/40 or 285/45. JMO...

I think 285/40/22 is what I'll be going with. I found a set I want that are 9 inches wide.

I would do 285 45 22, 40 will look to small unless you slam it

285/40/22 is about 31.1". 285/45/22 is about 32.2". 305/40/22 is about 31.7". 305/45/22 is about 32.8". OEM 275/60/20 is 33". I agree that 285/40 would look too small. My pick for your truck, based on your pics, would be a 305/40/22 w/ 10" wheel, or 285/45/22 w/ 9" wheel. JMO.
