Default hughes plenum gasket?

my truck burns a pretty good amount of oil and i've looked in the throttle body and its definently the plenum, i was wandering what ya'll thought of the hughes kit and how hard is it to put on? any feedback is appreciated!

The Hughes kit is good , but you'll pay top dollar for it . Really no need for it unless you have the extra cash to burn . Pretty much any repair kit out there will take care of the problem .

I wish I had a dime for every plenum pan gasket I've done over the years. Btw, you should pick up some new intake bolts while you're at it. The front pair tend to corrode and they can break when you remove them. Don't worry too much though, once you have the intake off, a pair of vise grips will usually twist out the remaining stud.

IMO, no but I'm a technician with close to 20 years in the business. It's pretty straight forward and no special tools other than a couple of torque wrenches are needed.

I dunno, seems like a good deal for the money. The kit has all the bolts (including intake manifold bolts), gaskets, thermostat, new bypass hose, and a stiffer plate. Add all that up and $120 doesn't look so bad. I mean, you can lo-buck for less, nothing wrong with that. Best part is you have a choice.
