Well here's what I can say about it...I've only had it on for one day. BUT for my 33 mile commute to work today, I did increase 2 full mpg's. I also have it matched with the 87mm throttle body. But an increase definitely happened!

I saw absolutely NO gain when I had mine. Of course I wasn't easy on my truck at all. I did notice better throttle response, but that was it.
Still thought it was worth the money just to have that eye popping image when you open the hood

I'm thinking about getting one too. I need to read up on them a little more though.

Vararam+85mm or 78mm Ported throttle body = very good throttle response, some nice HP gains, and if you can keep your foot off the gas pedal (many of us here can not) you will see between 2-3 MPG's more. However what I can do for you 1 time only is

85mm Ported throttle body + Vararam Air Grabber=$625.50
72mm Ported throttle body + Vararam Air Grabber=$665.50

This is a very good deal, if you would like to take advantage of it PM me your

First/last name
billing address
email address
phone number

And I will send you an electronic invoice that can be payed online with Visa/MC/Discover or Paypal and I will get everything out to ASAP. Everything is in stock and shipping

I have the Hemi Under Glass on my 07, IDK if the intake alone can claim the full mpg gain and performance responce.....I also installed the Diablosport inTune the same day. But I pound on my truck and still get better mpgs.

There are FAR to many different variables to give you an exact answer. Driving style, atmospheric conditions, truck set-up etc, etc. I love mine and I can say that if you want a CAI it is a good one and you could definitely see some gains, but how much depends on a lot of different things.

Based on the MPG gauge in the 2013 Ram, I'm seeing 1.2MPG gain (17.7 > 18.8) with mine with no other changes since adding the V-Ram.

Weather conditions very close, same time of day usage, non-highway, 2 fill-ups (93oct). very light on pedal and running in 6+.

Mine gave me 2mpg better but I installed the vararam and the 87mm throttle body the same time. Not sure if one or both contributed to that increase

No noted gains but honestly my issue was the ability for dirt to get past the seal/filter.

I would love to see photos of others to see if their setup is truly sealing properly. I've weather stripped, checked the flush lid contact around the top, etc. Not good results, returned to factory.
