Default engine removal????

Ok i am in the process of removing the engine from my ram 2500. 5.7 hemi with spun bearing!!!!! cause i knew you where going to ask!!!
I have a few questions that you might be able too help with,
I just bought the removal part 8984b to hook to the engine since i really didnt see anywhere to hook up a chain tight enough too get the puller in there and ge enough lift with out hitting the cowl.
so should i also put a jack under the trans and lower it in the rear while lifting and removing engine??? it doent say it in manual but i thught i read it somewhere.????

I don't use a jack under the trans when I pull these engines but you may as well because you'll need it when you reinstall the engine.
