Default Tires

So my fctory original tires are coming to the end of thir life 50,000 plus KM's. I am going to need new ones before winter, I am wondering what the majority of you guys are putting on and if you guys are going with regular tires or some of the heavier plys. I got a quote from my dealer 1300 installed for MX2's 10 ply and 1200 for the regular. I dont do alot of towing but when I do its a heavy load up around my max.

i just got back from the tire shop, turffed those garbage wrangler hp's at 38,888km. i just put on cooper zeon ltz's and these things are absolutely perfect. the tread is really good. doesn't slide the least bit on wet pavement. they look awesome on my truck and affordable at 1100 balanced and installed on original rims. i personally dont see the point to run a straight up winter tire on a truck thats why you have 4x4 for when its messy. im excited cause were in for a 15-20cm dump of snow tonight here in calgary alberta ill let you know how they will perform in the snow by the looks of the tires and the other reviews I've read they should be stellar.

50k KM is not that much for a set of tires at the price they cost. I have Mich LTX MS/2 on my F150 and the same on my Dodge 2500 truck. The F150 tires cost about $1,000 (US). Based on reviews, I hope to get 75k miles out of them.
