I'll be honest and say I looked closely at one of the dealership's show trucks similar to that. The inflated cost they add for the lift and wheels and tire combo doesn't come out even close to what a typical shop charging $70/hour labor plus all the parts. The F-150 I glanced at had a sticker of $47,xxx and I thought that was a steal. Talked to the salesman and he said that was just the truck as stock, tack on another $15k for the extras.

And we're done here thanks.

Nice! I worked 17 yrs. for an energy company before retiring last year. This was their vehicle of choice for us to use. They would purchase the trucks, immediately send them to a truck outfitter for suspension upgrades and add-ons and send them to us to use in the mountains. That's right, I got paid to offroad. It was a great job and the trucks were decked out with all the bells and whistles. (lifted, remote start, premium seats and sound, back-up camera, tool boxes, 4x4 ATV in the back, etc.) We used to have a fleet of Dodge's (all Hemis), but, I guess Chevy won the bidding war. Sure did love the Dodge, but, the Chevy was certainly no slacker. Some had diesels and the rest had the 6.1L Vortec. Dang.........I sure miss that job!

I know the ones by me that were very similiar had like a 55K price tag. They charged I think it was 22K for all the shop custom work which included a 6" lift kit, wheels/tires and some painted badges and flares.

Hell, for 58K, you can get a BADASS Cummins 1 TON bud! I've owned a couple of Chevy's in my younger days and they ayite. It's like looking at a hooker in a red dress outside a strip club. Nothing else around but her to look at so I guess she'll have to do. Hahaha!
You could even buy a Ram 4x4 QC 1/2 ton for under 30K, purchase a 6inch ProComp liftkit for under 1500 bucks, a set of 35 x 12.50-20's for under 2000 bucks and still have room for a full exhaust, a supercharger, nitrous, and even a hooker in a red dress way below 58K!
