Howdy I'm new so please bear with me.My 98 Ram 1500 will bog down and pop once in awhile but if I hit the clutch and rev it the thing will straighten out and run fine. Idles great at lights.Caught something in a manual that a faulty TPS will make this happen also.Got to put code reader on it yet. If so how do you align the throttle shaft and the socket on the switch? Also whats a good way to check for the previously mentioned problem with the manifold? Thanks

There is a TSB out there that tells how to block off vac lines and tell if the engine is sucking air. might have to do a search of this site or google.

Replaced the plenum gasket, intake gasket. I didn't have the time to change or clean the plugs so I am sincerely hoping that is why I still have a stutter and backfires. If not, where do I go from here?
