Default FRD2RAMBLD!!! Piiicccsssssss!!!!

So I'm starting my build thread in hopes that it helps me to do everything I want done as fast as possible. Money permitting!!! And I'm sure that the vision I have in my head will change before I reach the end, but I think I'm off to a pretty good start!!

The only pic I have of my naked Ram.

The first mod was the 50 series Flowmaster. Not really a pic for that. I'll post a video later. Next was my S&B CAI. Great intake IMHO. It fits like it should've come from the factory, and the increased throttle response is amazing. Throttle response was the one thing I was disappointed in when I got the truck, but this really made it better.

Next were the 55watt 8k HIDs from Retro Solutions. I didn't really notice how poor the light output was until I put these in. I've never had upgraded lights so I dint really notice the difference until the first time I drove at night. WOW!!! Now I'll have to upgrade all future vehicles!!

The camera on my phone isn't the best, sorry.
Ballast..

Best place I could find to mount these.

After that I got excited about wiring, so I got the DBA-ALL remote start. As those of you who have installed these know, it was too exciting to instal. Literally took me ten minutes.

How about a little history? Here's the last Ford I had before my RAM! I really did love this last Ford. It was a 2005 F-250 Harley Davidson. It was the 6.0 turbo diesel. Yes, the one with the EGR and head problem. Luckily for me I got to experience both! On the other hand, this was my first diesel truck and I went out and got a Hypertech tuner right away. I couldn't believe what that 5 minute instal did to that truck. It went from a torquey turd to the FASTEST thing I've ever had the pleasure of driving!! Here are a few pics I snapped just before I traded her.

How hard was the Install for the hids? I'm thinking of getting some and tinting my headlights.

The instal wasn't too bad. It took me just over 2 hours. Mostly because I didn't have a firm grasp on how to get these headlights out. Dodge really made that difficult compared to other cars. Next was figuring out where to mount everything and run the wires. I suggest planning it out before hand. The light output is definitely worth it. Good luck!!
