Default HOAT Coolant

Just a heads up for anybody looking for coolant to meet the HOAT spec. Have confirmed with Prestone tech support that their "all makes all models" brand is an OAT type coolant (no Hybrid silicone crap) and it is 100% compatible with Chrysler's HOAT coolant.

The only reason I've found out is because I added windshield washer fluid to my coolant bottle by mistake in a blizzard and had to drain the coolant bottle and couldnt find any HOAT locally that was less than $75 for a 4L(1G) jug. Luckily I was parked at home and didn't need to go anywhere so none of the windshield fluid circulated in my system. Talk about a hand to forehead moment.

just fyi. Windshield- washer fluid is mostly Alcohol. and in time it would boil it self out. Been their done that, to my wife's brand new Grand Prix, a few years back. A few Mechanic buddies told me not to worry about it. 7 years later the car is still running like a top.
