True to the above post about not all engines can have one, I am not sure what years but there are some engines that you can't do it.

Actually I just noticed you have the 4.7L so I would look into it more because there could be a chance you could use a catch can. My '07 has the HEMI and I was told it had an internal PCV system. So I would look up the info for your 4.7L (I tried for a few minutes and couldn't find anything for ya right off the bat...maybe do a separate post and someone on here could help you!)

apparently our 2007's have an internal PCV system so we cannot utilize a catch can without some major jimmy-rigging
This is not correct since he has the 4.7L.

To clear this up:

The older hemi has an internal pcv system, it's more difficult to add a catch can. The later hemi is easy.

The older 4.7L and newer 4.7L both can have a catch can easily(even though the pcv is located differently I believe).

I actually made a mockup of a bracket to use on my truck that I want machined from aluminum, to use with the BT catch can that I bought. i'm wondering how many guys with the 4.7L would be interested in a bracket. Could have a batch made instead of just one.

hmm.....the only issue is the one I made fits 4th gens(mounts using the fan shroud bolt hole). Not sure the same bracket would work with the 3rd gens. Would have to look at one in person I think...
