Default Amp location for 2012 Crew Cab 2500

I am picking up my new 2500 crew cab on monday. I have all my stereo equipment I would like to put in, however, I cannot quickly find a good location for the amp. In my 1500, it fit nicely under the drivers seat, but my new truck has vents there for the rear heat, so I cant use that spot.
I was thinking in the center under the back seat, but there is a lid that closes over that, and I am not sure if it will get enough air.
Then I was thinking about under the center console up front, but again, it would be enclosed once it is all done and I am worried about air movement.

Next, i thought behind the back seat perhaps?

Anyone that has some suggestions, or has tried any of these spots I would love to hear, and see pics too if you have them.

thanks

Stock on the high end radio from RAM puts the amp under the rear passenger seat in the larger storage compartment. Seems to work for them. You may be able to open the space for more air flow if necessary. The space is not air tight by a long shot.

I looked quick under the rear passenger front seat, didnt see any room there, are you talking about the rear back seat? I noticed there should be room there, but I would like to tray and keep that for storage if I can, and exhaust other places as options first..places I wont looose storage capacity..

I have an 2011 2500 and I mounted 2 Alpine MRP-M500's and One ARC Audio KS300.4 behind the rear seats. You will be mounting them lower on the wall to avoid factory compression vents, and there are a few linkages and motors that control your rear window opener that you will have to avoid as well. It works fine, plenty of air for cooling, and offers a level of security too!

Thanks for the info..Ill only be mounting one amp, so I shouhd have plenty of space..
Do you happen to have any pictures at all?
Possible tips on how to remove the rear back of the back seat, I am assuming I will need to do that? And how did you mount it, I dont want to drill right through the back of my truck HAHA

Any additional info you can provide would be much appreciated.

I still want to look into putting it under my center console, less wire to run, but if that dosent work, I think the back wall be the place to go..

Thanks again

No pics as of yet...sorry.
remove the bottom bolts and lift the entire seat up and out. The verticle section is held in place by a few hooks built into the back of the verticle section. I made an amp rack out of 3/4" MDF, carpeted it, screwed my amps onto the mdf, and then used a 3M adhesive to attach the MDF to the back of the cab itself....bare metal portion of it. I was not going to drill into my truck either. The 3M can be found at any hardware store and is strong enough to hold anything, but you can remove it as well....it's not a perminent epoxy or anything like that. I'll try to post some pics

cool..is this the 3M in a can? or did you use the 3M adhesive strips?
Where did you run the wires? I was thinking for behind the seat, to run the wires on either side of the "hump" right down the middle. That would put all the speaker connections and RCA do one side, right to the back of the radio, and the power line down the other side, up under the dash, and out the clutch delete hole cover..

I used just a few 3M strips cause the stuff really holds well and I wanted it to be secure, but removable too. And yes, your theory is correct about the wires...which will eliminate any interference noises that my pop up from wires being too close to one another. power wires on drivers side straight to the battery, rca's down the other side

im still trying to research if I can install it under the console in the center between the 2 front seats, that is my first choice close to the radio, secure, and short cable runs..

I also want to run good speaker wire from the amp to the door speakers. What's the best way? We're u able to get through the wire harness on the doors?
