Thats actually not a bad idea. but honestly, i dont think i want to know how much ive spent on this truck over the past 7 months. it scares to me think about it actually :P But it would make it easy to come up with warranty issues and stuff like that, having it all written out somewhere. i dont think ive kept one receipt :P

I cant even think of anything i want right now that doesnt come from one specific supplier i want stuff that needs research done on whats better! but thats a little bit different haha

Got my ultimate supremo most awesomest mud flaps a few days ago! Husband was back from Germany, yes, but was out of town in Wyoming on a business trip when they arrived. And given my impatience, I went to Napa and borrowed a socket set and went to work installing them in their parking lot. Needless to say, quite a few pickups of coal miners and construction workers paused long enough to look at the chic on the ground (in the snow) wrestling with mud flaps. LOL

Without further adieu.. I finally got around to some pictures today!

I am always a fan of tasteful chrome!!

As for getting things done in odd situations well... sounds about right! I can't count how many times in a mall parking lot I would have my grill off and headlights out just so I could mess with them.

You had your grille off just to mess with your headlights?
My reason? Or just cause?

Well yeah there was a reason. Mainly me not happy with where I had them aimed. They have a lot of light output but it is very focused and I had them to low. Besides...I've taken the grill on and off so many times I probably do it in my sleep.

I knew what you meant. Just yanking your chain.
As for removing the grille....yes, I can do the same.
Heck I could even remove the entire front end of my truck in my sleep. That's how many times I removed it.

I don't understand why most people aren't into mud flaps, or slush guards or whatever else they're called... I couldn't stand the sound of the gravel being sprayed onto my rocker panels when driving down our rural country roads. I had to have something, and these were so unique so I had to get them.
I've also been looking at other trucks in my area (there's quite a few!) and I've noticed that not very many have any flaps at all! Only company work trucks, like our gas and electricity trucks have flaps. Very odd to me.

Thanks! I enjoyed getting down and dirty with my rig.. I was so excited to get these on and I knew if I waited til my husband got home, that he would insist on doing it and I wouldn't get to so that's why I went to my friendly local Napa Auto. So I wouldn't classify this as being 'very impatient'.. I just wanted to do it myself.
