don't know and I wouldn't wait that long. I check mine about every 1,000 to 1,500 and it's about a 1/4 the way full then.

I checked mine today and it was half full, just think of all this passing through your intake system. Take a look, yes my signature series Amsoil is still golden clean

that begs of 2 questions.

1.how many ounces of oil was "1/4 way full"
2. and how much oil are you having to add inbetween oil changes?

Good questions, do not know that I have seen those 2 asked before, I can not provide an answer for these, but hopefully someone will chime in with an answer for you

Thanks

Well I've emptied mine twice in 6,000 kms each time being about half full and my dipstick still shows in the normal range. So these cans do not hold all that much oil. I've never had to add oil between oil changes and have changed my oil four times now.

Would installing this void any warranty aspects?

It would depend on which brand you have. The BT one is about 1" internal diameter and 3" tall, allowing a maximum of 2.3in^3 of volume. A 1/4 can would be 5/8in^3 which is a very small amount. It's also not just motor oil that's in that condensed fluid, it's water vapor and gasoline, plus a little carbon thrown in for good measure. If you're losing oil in the engine, then a catch can is not the place you need to be looking for it.

Yes it is, but it requires you to install a new PCV in one of your valve covers and block your existing PCV. You also need to pull vacuum, so you'd put a tee into one of your existing vacuum lines.

No, you are not adding any performance nor are you taking any OEM parameter out of factory norm. Chrysler has started making their own catch can because it's become such a popular item on the hemi engine.
