I run 13.8s in my stock R/T also and you do have a chance against hemi chargers amd challengers they only claim 370hp and weigh about 400 less which gives you the advantage but they r tuned differently i stay door to door with the 300c the challenger charger and hemi jeeps now srt8s will spank you but not the normal hemis

Ok well my buddy was running 14.6 consistently in 3 passes when he went. Bone stock down to the air filter and tires. And we are at sea level. It was hot though, but still nearly a second difference....doesn't make sense.

Yeah I believe it. He pretty much beats the hell out his truck, his gas pedal only has two positions lol. On of Off. It was nearly 100 deg F out, that's probably why... I was running 16.2 at the same time. Normally that'd be more like mid to high 15's. So he's probably good for low 14's.

Depending on conditions...

That is true he sounds like me and conditions do play a big part of it cause i run differemt time at 2 tracks that r 90 miles apart and my truck hates the heat also

On stock wheels? How are you getting traction? I have never taken my truck to the track because on the street my tires dont stick to good so i never bothered taking it to baytown for a base run.

Also i've ran against an r/t chally from about a 20 roll and put a couple car lengths on him by the time i capped out at 105. Didnt know if it was automatic/stick or if he fell asleep at the wheel when we punched it. Then later that same day i lost to an s2k by about half a car from 20 roll to 105, at about 80mph the s2k came from my back tire and then put the half car dist between us.

Threads like this just remind me how slow my truck really is lol all the most reason to build that blown 408 stroker I've been wanting to build. Then I might be able to keep up with some of you guys haha
