Default HID Bulbs

For those that have them what system did you buy, what temp bulb (don't won't to blind people), and are pleased?

TIA

I bought the go recon smoked projector lights with the led halos and for the headlamps I went with 5K's. Nice and white, not to bright in my opinion.

You'll blind people with any color bulb ,because you're putting an HID bulb in a headlight that is designed for halogens.

With that said 5000K puts out the most lumens. 6000K has a little bit of blue and slightly less. Anything over that and you loose lumens at a rapid rate.

I have Xentec 6000K HIDs in both head lights and fog lights in my 07 1500. I am pleased with how much better I can see at night than with the stock bulbs and they look great. They probably are blinding to oncoming drivers, as I met my uncle's 2012 2500 one night with the same system and I could hardly see lol

Retroshop dot us has great HIDs, i put some in my truck and they look great, but i also added projectors to my headlights to be even better. 6000k in 55w will come out white, but 6000k in a 35w will come out slightly blue
