Lol it was bull! I took out my fog light housings and covers up the fog lights with plastic and then took off that plastic thing that sits on top of the bumper. My problem was when I went to put it on it didn't go on easily and slightly peeled a couple spots. I ended up just taping off the spot that peeled and sprayed with more plastidip lol. Blended right in. Now the rear I got a little lazy and just taped everything off instead of removing all the plastic and lights. There was a really thin line of chrome that shows where the plastic meets the bumper but I think I'm the only one that notices lol.

It rained here today so I'm not able to do my grill yet

Yea... i just taped everything off it was REALLY easy. My grille, and bumpers are both still looking good. The rims was the frustrating part for me. honestly. i would just tape off the areas around your grille. Make sure to put plastic behind your grille so you dont get it on your radiator as well. At least you didnt have to do your door handles too lol your truck will look awesome when you do your grille!

I was thinking about either taking my inserts off or or taping them off since they're already black and I don't want to waste plastidip lol. But hell who knows.

A big tip! Make sure the can is warm, otherwise it comes out bubbly and clumpy and get the V shaped nozzle and not the normal spray can one. The V-shaped nozzle seemed to come out as a finer mist and was cleaner looking, like normal spray paint.

Yup! The last time I did it, it was summer so it came out nicely but when I started doing my front bumper I was pissed and thought I got a bad can. Then I thought "wait a minute....I'm spraying liquid plastic...." so I warmed it up a little lol. Still came out funky but after a few light coats everything blended in well! Hopefully I can stop by home depot this week and possibly go my grill Friday or this weekend

Ya. The guy that I bought it off of painted it really crappy. The only parts that were painted were what you could see standing behind the truck lol. So I took a wire brush wheel and a drill and went to town on the toolbox to get all the paint off and to roughen up the surface. I know I used self-etching on my step bars but I think I used normal primer on the toolbox. But ya I went the cheap route and bought the $1 cans or so of black satin. It has a couple scratches on it from me but other than that the paint/primer is holding up really well.
