Well folks I finally went to the track with the ram last night and here are the numbers
Air Temp - 68
Humidity- 52%

Well my first run out of the gate was 15.14 second 15.04 third 15.01 fourth 15.02.
So all in all it is a 15 second full size four door truck. I think we can do better any ideas ?

Was everything electrical off in/on (headlights, ect.) the truck, Was the cover on or off? These little things can add up alot.

Well folks here is the vehicle break down, I currently have a 4" velocity style CAI, JBA ceramic shorty headers Y pipe delete running true duels to 14 magnaflows withe the stock 2.75 pipes out the back. Its kind of hodge podged but it works for now. As for the passes the head lights were on the tailgate was up,I ran the .01 and the ,04,02 in ERS and the .14 in eco mode I guess is what you could call it. With traction control on, Honestly I need a tuner to break into the 14's I think but I will take and advice and or suggestions that you all have !!!. Also keep this in mind the first time I ran it she was straight stock pulling 17.87,17.77, and 17.75. I know they say that in the hands of a pro it should be able to pull a 16 stock but I am not a pro !!! hahaha.

6000lb+/- big ol' 4 door truck running almost 14's with a not-so-big 345c.i. engine.....
Pretty darn good if you ask me!!!

old hp, we are the same age and remembering what a 350 engine would do in a truck 15 years ago. i find these time very impressive for what we drive.

Well gentlemen thanks for the nod of approval. I plan on getting a tuner and hope to break into the 14's with it. the guys I went with kept telling me to stage the truck and everything else but I did not. so maybe it could be faster maybe not but I will keep bolting things on. outside of a tuner anything else that we can thing of to do ? Also one thing I did not put above I had about 400 lbs of sand bags in the back to help it stop from spinning off the line.

400LBS??? Every hundred pounds is a tenth of a second.
If you can launch it, it should run 4 tenths faster!!! You need some more passes so you can launch it without all the weight. 400LBS extra, your times are even more impressive! Maybe try leaving at 1000/1200RPM, pause and nail it. Every car/truck is different.

OldHP I have had the drag racing bug since I owned my nova. I know that when I ran it stock all it did was spin I just knew that the weight was the fastest fix to get her to grip. I dont know if the weight would or could take that much off. I saw another 2012 ram there single short box hemi, and he was running right there with me almost identical times and similar mods, he had single pipe to mufflex, no headers CAI. So at this piont its anyone's guess ya know.
