Washed and installed my new rams Head medallion on tailgate. Then installed my new Summit bed rail covers under my Lund trifold tonneau. Looks cool and functional.

Changed my oil & filter for the second time in a month on my new truck. Sounds excessive and maybe I am a type A compulsive and an old dog, living in the past, but it makes me feel warm and fuzzy. I always believed the oil during break in gets pretty cruddy and my truck was a new 2012 purchased mid January, so not sure how long the oil had been in it. I first changed it a couple weeks ago at 526 miles using Mobil 5000 5W-20 (on sale at half price) and a Wix filter. Then today at 1000 miles with Amsoil OE 5W-20 and a Wix filter. It has been good to get up close and personal with my new truck, especially since changing fluids is probably the only thing I will be able to do.

i gave the ramcharger a bath and and cleaned a bit of garbage out of it. it is nice having it kind of clean. i also fixed the exhaust leak for the 3rd or 4th time. can't wait till summer gets here and i can hopefully permanently fix the leak.

Installed Blue interior and reverse lights, will need to put resistor on led 3rd brake light as it glows when truck is on. Brighter on the inside than i thought it would be. Kinda cool...

I called the police cause I filled my gas tank and drove home, came out the next morning and had half a tank.

The police told me that there has been a lot of this going on, and the thief have a suction device that locks on and pumps up the gas without braking the wire net or doing any other damage. He stated that the divice only seems to get half the tank so maybe I should not fill it.

To me that is not the answer. So I ordered a locking gas cap.
Did you all know you can get a gas cap that can be keyed to you existing truck key?
