installed a mechanical oil pressure gauge in my 93. not liking how oil pressure drops down to 30 psi at idle and goes back up to 60psi when driving but i guess i at least have oil pressure.

sent my baby up to my mechanic today

not 100% sure what's wrong with it. drove home fine the other night, get up for work at 5 a.m and not running so smooth.

i'm new to manual transmissions, but it seems like it's stuck in first, even when i shift to 2nd, 3rd or 4th it still feels labored and revs like i'm topping out in 1st. i hope it isn't a transmission problem but rather the flywheel or clutch. when i depress the clutch it does spring back but it feels as if there is less tension on it as i press it in.

was looking forward to doing some work on this truck myself but working two jobs gives me limited weekend time and seeing how i can't really drive it (or at least feel comfortable doing so) i had it shipped up to my guy. at least he is a Dodge Certified mechanic who used to work at the dealership. hoping to hear back on the problem today or tomorrow so i can order parts

great.

heard back from my mechanic, needs a new clutch. unfortunately i don't have the money to get a new flywheel as well i really wanted to change them both out at the same time but need this truck back on the road ASAP and lack the funds.

went with the LuK 05-074 Clutch Set.

Got my Linex sprayed, looks great! Next week the Truxedo and possibly some DeeZee NXT running boards. Have to look at em before I can decide if I want them or not.

Full detail, including waxing, done today, Linex two days ago. Had some minor overspray from the Linex that took forever to get off. Looks like it sprayed up through the holes on top rear of bed and out the bottom of the bed caps. Goo gone and rubbing compound got it off. Anyway, here are the pics of fresh wax job and Linex. 105 miles on her so far!

The wet spots are just that, water from washing. Looks great on the truck.
