Tried to install my HID lows, found out 1 of the bulbs was the wrong type, so have to wait a few days for them to ship a new one to me free of charge. And since I hate taking the whole front of the truck off to replace bulbs I just hand tightened everything back on for now.

Getting my 14" Magnaflow replaced with a 22" Magnaflow this evening. Love the sound but looking for a little less noise. I'm getting old, lol.

Completed brake work on the 2500 gasser (right rear had leaking cylinder), put high end brakes on for hauling, ordered one new cab light kit w/seal, finished stereo install, finished tune up, replaced dull left front head light.

Should of had low expectations (or lower). Got a fried wire so one cab light needs rewiring............and need 3 other cab light bulbs.

Love this post...........we can edit when we discover anomalies.

Default 10/2/2013 took the day off for the mods

2005 Ram 1500 quad cab. My first Dodge and Hemi. So far, cannot compare to my previous GM evils (Avalanche, H2, Denali, Escalade).
I took the day off yesterday to work on my truck.
First, took the truck to Discount tires and mounted Falken Rocky Mountain 275-60R20. Awesome ride and looks compare to Wrangler I had.
Straight from Discount tires, went to get dual exhaust put in with Flowmaster 40. Took about 1-1/2hours to complete, beautiful sound!!
Came back home and worked on Clazzio Leather seat covers. I have ordered wrong(60/40 seats instead of full bench) rear seat covers, so worked on the front. Absolutely fantastic seat covers that actually fits and looks decent!
had little lunch and worked on the Auto Dim rear view mirror. Five minute install.
Now, time for the stereo. I got the Clarion NZ503 with Crimestopper back up camera. I already had Alpine aftermarket stereo, so I used the existing wiring harness. Took me good 3 hours to get all the wiring done and route for the back up camera.
All done, working beautifully.
Last piece, Bak Roll-X install. watched enough Youtube videos on install, it took me 45minutes to install. This is absolutely fantastic cover that cannot compare to soft roll ups or tri-folding hard top.
That was my full da of mod yesterday and today, little sore.....

Put new sneakers on mine Wednesday; I needed them before the winter, and my hand was forced when one got cut on the way to work on Saturday. Went with Hankook Ventus AS instead of the original Wranglers- much happier with the Hankooks! So far, they have a much smoother and quieter ride then the Goodyears ever did. Pics when I get a chance here at work

Today I did nothing yet still at work.
But last night I pulled the trigger and my mechanic and I did the EGR / Cooler delete and tomorrow Saturday I'm doing the exhaust including the DPF delete. On the drive home the Torque jumped up to 1,100 Pounds and on the ride in too work the MPG jumped to 23.2. Now this is going to be fun !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Today I added Bedstripes in a "Petty Blue" color to my 2013 "maximum steel" ram. I know I'm bias but I think they look pretty sweet.
