Every work truck I have driven had had that air dam ripped off in the first week. Hand way too low for driving up and down pipeline right-of-ways.

How did you remove the plastic bolts holding the air dam on? This may sound like a stupid question but I took a look at them and am currently stumped.

They are reusable plastic rivets. Using a pair of dikes or a small screwdriver gently pull up on the pin (top center section of the rivet), then pull the whole rivet out. They look similar to this:

I noticed no decrease in mpg at all, either city or highway. It looks so much better too. I like what you did with it although you can never see the bolts anyway unless you are going to put a 12 in lift on it...

Maybe because the truck was on the ramps the fasteners kept catching my eye. Anyway to me it has a more finished look as opposed to having no air dam at all.
