Default Halo ring dim...

Hey everyone, I just installed the Spyder projector headlights on my truck and everything was working great for about a day, but now one of the halo rings is dim and the others are all bright.... Has anyone else had this issue and if so, how did you fix it?

Seems to be working fine now... I'm wondering if its something with the inverters that come with the lights...

Those spyder halos are garbage. My pair started failing two weeks after having them. I then replaced the inverters, and they worked great for about a month. Then they fried them selves up again a month later, and now they wont fire in winter at all. So if i were you. Replace them with led halos. Save your self time and effort. As right now after 6 inverters later I got fed up and now im just waiting on my led halo rings to come in, then ill be baking my headlights and switching them out. And at the same time, i would recommend switching out your led bulbs that come with the spyder headlights as well. Those lasted me only 2 months as well.

Yea I had the same problem.
I found that the wiring for the halo's come bound,so I unbound them as I think the wiring must of been caught once the lights were refitted and restricting the power to the halo's.
Seems to of fixed the problem, hope this helps...

Thanks for everyones input! I will have to pull them out and check over all of the wiring and make sure it looks ok.
I have to aim the headlights as they are way out of adjustment too... any tips on how to do that? I know what the procedure is to do it, but it appears to be pretty well impossible to get at most of the adjusting screws without actually pulling the headlight assemblies out and putting them back in place each time...

Any update on this? One of my Halos only light up half way some times, it is dim. Other times it is as bright as the other halos on start up or after a little driving. I also notice the dim one is more likely to be dim when it is cold out.
I wonder if it is a voltage issue because I didn't spice that side I used scotch bright connectors.

I hard wired mine in and the two lower halos are still dim only when it is below zero... I guess we'll have to wait and see how they are in the summer...

I've got the same lights. One issue is make sure your connections for the halos are sealed up. Mine had gotten wet and it was shorting them out. I disconnected them and used compressed air to dry out the connections. Then I shrink tubed them and taped up the ends of the shrink tube.
