I'll take better pics later of my setup..but visualize a 6" openning (no other cai is doing that)..which then goes down to the size of out tb (around 3.5")...image as the air flows in, it speeds up as the pipe goes smaller..

only bad side of these is mounting it.. since its just tubes, there are no boxes or brackets to hold it into place unless you rig something like these guys.

I understand the logic, but wouldn't the air only speed up as the pipe narrows if it were being forced in from the outside? If the only force of air coming in is from what the tb sucks up, then how could it possible speed up? It will only suck in as much as it can possibly handle. In order for the air pressure to increase or speed up, it would have to be getting forced in and then we would have a ram air. Im obviously only using my own logic and reasoning and if im incorrect could someone please explain it further?

the BFI has a tab weld hole to insert a spring j hook mount. you can see it in the pics. would love a cf design of the bfi as it will save a few ounces causes its a heavy piece.
