Default Now that bell tech has fixed their kit.....

Which lowering kit would you recommend for a daily driven 11 1500? Was going to run a 22" srt-10 wheel, on a 305/40. I don't want to deal with rubbing or anything, but I would like a nice stance.

What do you mean "fixed their kit"? 305-40's won't rub on compression, but they will rub on the sway bar slightly at full lock. there are many threads discussing this in this section.

That's the wheel offset and tire choice's fault...not the kit.

Uh, that's correct. Not sure what the point of your post was. OP, what about the BT kit? Are you talking about end-links, as that's been fixed for awhile now, or are you talking about their lack of a panhard bracket? If Bell Tech has added a panhard bracket to their kit it would be the winner, hands down! If you have money to burn, go with the McGaughy's kit and some good shocks, as they already supply a panhard bracket with their kit (just no shocks). That being said, you could get the BT kit, and fab (or have fabbed for you) a panhard bracket relatively easily/inexpensively. This is probably the route I'll be taking, and I am still trying to convince Bell Tech to add the bracket to the kit!
As far as wheel/tire choices go, any SRT 22"x10" wheel (OE or replica) will rub slightly at full lock, lowered or not, I have SRT's w/ no drop (yet), and they rub the swaybar when fully turned. If you want NO rubbing at all, you will have to go with a narrower width/ different offset wheel than the SRT's.

Your first post reads like it's the kits fault the tires rub...I was just clarifying that it's not. You sure do get butt hurt easily.....you should relax more.

I have a 4x4, and after some reading, see that I can run the 2wd kits, just cant use the aftermarket spindles. I would like to do a 2/4 drop. If the only spot it rubs is full lock thats fine, I never go full lock anyways as that puts a crap load of pressure on your p/s pump. Looking to go the way of sport/performance with my truck, make it a bit of a handler, which sounds silly but its my truck and Ill do what I want!

No, it does'nt read that way at all, that was just your misconception. You should really stop thinking about my butt, it makes me uncomfortable, especially when you are telling me to "relax more".

OP, sorry to dilute your thread. Good luck with it, and let us know how it turns out!
