Sour grapes! TEST DRIVE THE FU*KING THING!! When I ordered my regular cab, my dealer said " I am sorry we do not have a reg. cab on the lot for you to test drive, but you can test ANY of the QC's or CC's." I opted to test drive a QC. Took it on a 3 mile run, and when I got back to the lot, the finance manager, who had a 2011 reg. cab Sport held out his own keys and offered me a test ride of his own personal vehicle. Do your research, and like I said: TEST DRIVE THE FU*KING THING!!!!

Key right here. I got my RAM brand new 10 miles on it and have had no problems at all.

I work at Chrysler and you've had dealership problems not Chrysler problems. Get a new dealership man dont blame the company.

I dont feel sorry for you. The dealer diidnt make you sign for the truck. You should have did more research on the truck before you bought it. During the test drive you didnt notice it pulling? If your having no luck then write a letter to chrysler explaining your situation and that the dealer isnt helping you. Maybe they can help? Do your research before you buy. Ask questions check out reviews on dealers...all things any buyer should do

Don't waste your keyboard gang, this "misinformed" buyer won't be back! Just someone trying to stir the pot, see it all the time on Golf forums!

I have 18 000km's on mine, towed a 10 000lbs trailer all summer and have had 0 issues... I could complain that leaving a cooler under the tonneau cover in the sun will melt the ice in it and beer won't stay cold... but that's it! lol

5000 miles on mine, no issues.....best truck ever!!! I test drove mine twice,
son drove it, looked it over for a solid hour including underneath inspection.
Came back next day, looked at it some more with my other son, finally agreed
to buy.......you should only blame yourself!!! Trucks, cars, motorcycles,
whatever can have issues right off the car hauler.....Its up to all of us to
assure quality with anything we buy, the salesmen will sell you anything,
good or bad (THEY JUST DON'T GIVE A RATS ASS, THEY WANT YOUR MONEY)
I would have noticed these DEFECTS and moved on to another truck.

Wow!...what a rant from the OP. Yeah, making comments to address his complaints probably won't do anything to make him happy, but it's good to see the many responses here that for the most part are positive and reflect how good the truck is to insure new buyers that his situation isn't common. A lot of people do pass through here looking for input on a new vehicle, and it's worth it for owners to address some of these issues even if they're just anomalies or plain ol' BS.

I will comment on the chrome clad wheels. The local dealership I bought my truck from did not have the Express level that I wanted. They set down with me and covered all the bases of the equipment I wanted and the actual price I was willing to pay. Another nearby dealer had a truck that fit my list, so they went and picked it up. When it arrived, I inspected it and it did fit my list. However, the sales guy said it was going to cost $400 more because of the chrome clad wheels. I said I wasn't interested in them and wasn't going to pay for them. I even went out to the lot with the sales guy and told him they take any of the other standard alloy 20" wheel/tire combos to replace them. I wasn't trying to take advantage of them. They went ahead and left them on at the originally quoted price. Funny thing was that the truck also had an LSD rear end that the original price didn't quote, and they never said a thing about it.

With any buyer, any dealer, and any brand vehicle, you have to be careful with checking things over on the vehicle, price changes, and equipment present...BEFORE...you sign and make the final deal.

Brand new Ram + first post being extremely negative = Another Stinkin' Immature Brand Troll!

Brand new or new used Ram + first post being excited about and asking about mods and making their Ram their own = A RamForumZ True MOPAR Brother and or Sister!

Maybe its just me, but I don't understand the "this brand is a piece of crap" mentality.

Over the past 10 years my wife and I have owned a new 2002 and 2004 Impala - great reliable cars, not a single problem with either over 60k miles on each. A 2002 suburban, 106 k over 5 years never went into the shop for anything. A 2007 Aspen with the Hemi, never one issue to 100k. A 2008 G35 - the best car I have ever driven to 75k without any trouble. A 2007 CTS - the only car we ever had an trouble with - minor braking issue handled on recall, then traded for the G35. We now own a 2012 Honda Pilot and a 2012 RAM 1500. Again, no issues to date.

Lucky you say. Maybe?

The truth is all passenger vehicles are significantly better than they were 20 or 30 years ago. Are they perfect, of course not. But this current generation of RAM truck is awesome, as are so many other vehicles.

If this OP is true, and I think we all doubt it is, I don't feel a bit sorry for this person. Maybe it was tongue-in-cheek. Who buys a vehicle without inspecting or driving it first. It doesn't take a mechanic to detect these problems.

If you do the maintenance, most new vehicles, especially trucks are going to perform very well. That is the bottom line.
