Yeah I don't know how low it will end up being but when putting them side by side with the 22" wheels it was about 2 1/2" shorter.

As far as 28" being the magic number you got me but according to a gear ratio calculator I will be increasing my effective gear ratio from a 3.92 to a 4.62. Which overall should cut my 60 time a good bit being a much lighter/stickier set-up as well.

Here's the calculator if your curious.....

I couldn't help you in that department but what mods do you have?
Pretty much all the bolt ons. S&B CAI with the scoop, 85mm TB from Moe's, JBA shorty headers, and 14" DI/DO Magnaflow 2.5" dual exhaust. Oh, and it's dropped 2/4 with a McG's spindle kit.

Ok everything but a torque converter....have you actually got to run it at the track yet with the new tune?

I haven't ever been able to make it to the track unfortunately. Gainesville is the closest track but that's still a drive to get there. Pretty sure they're closed for the season now.

We've got three more weekends until they close it here but hopefully I can make it next Friday....worse case scenario it will be on the 7th.

3000stall should fix your stock runs. With all these mods. You should get into a very low five 0-60 maybe fours with 17s and drag radials

Anyway give me my thread back .......
I wanted to take the truck to the track today but It turns out the 1/8 and 1/4 mile tracks in my area are closed today. Which sucks balls because I just picked these up from Matt (Moe's Performance) this morning and just got back from getting the mounted.

They are 17" Pro comp wheels w/ M&H 275/50 DRs (28") and only weigh 53 lbs a piece....which is shaving about 25lbs when compared to my 22" wheels. I might just go ahead and order the fronts now too since it's such big drop in rotational weigh.

How much was that combo for this I would by them for the track after my stall

Yeah, I keep forgetting about higher stall converters making such a big difference. It isn't really on my to do list though since my R/T already has one kind of. Drag radials on the other hand sound pretty cool but my truck wheel hops too bad with smaller tires. After this new tune I am starting to wheel hop again and I do not want to break a second rear end because of that junk.

I'm surprised your haveing wheel hop. When I have traction issues my truck kicks way sideways then it swings to the other side. I usually have to let off so it can hook. But no wheel hop. I'm looking for a new stall around 3000 so I can keep traction control on and still be a whole lot faster then now with traction off. And the rt stalls suck they are a huge weak point for the drivetrain for the rt. plus at 3000 rpm stall will put you right at the power increase where your shorties really shine. Just my 2 cents
