^That's what I've been saying for the longest.....but have you guys invested in a rear sway bar. I have a hellweg and It's definitely an upgrade over the stock hollow rear sway bar and plus it's got three different notches in it to adjust it.

Anyway....
I had to breakout the old trusty plastidip so they can match my blackout look. I kinda liked the polished look but I think it would look funny having the front wheels black and the rear wheels polished LOL. The nice part is if I get the front wheels I can always just take that plastidip off pretty easily. I'm gonna try to mount these tomorrow and make a few datalogs once I get the speedometer corrected to really see how much these DRs have helped performance wise.

This pro comps are sweet wheels

Does your truck have to be brought in to get the hemifever tune?
When the tune is released for the '12s I'm really considering in doing this if my truck does not have to be at his shop...well cause its not easy to get it there.

I too prefer the polish look over the Plastidip/matte look
Rip it off
LOL

No you use your tuner to datalog some things he request (all easy to setup on the trinity) and make some runs, he looks at them, and makes the adjustments from there. You might need to send some e-mails back and forth until he get's it dialed in but it can be done in 1-2 days depending how fast you can get your logs done because he returns the revised tunes back in the same day if not in some hours.

As far as the plastidip goes it most likely coming off if I get the wheels for the front otherwise it would look really ugly with two polished wheels in the rear and two black wheels for the front. I just don't know if I'm gonna get them though because it's not like I'm running the 17" wheels around the street....really just the day of me going back and forth to the track.

And the rt stalls suck they are a huge weak point for the drivetrain for the rt. plus at 3000 rpm stall will put you right at the power increase where your shorties really shine. Just my 2 cents

I was worried about using a higher stall because the only guy I know with a stall uses it have a 4000rpm 4wd launch. Lol, I figured a higher stall would just make me hook up less.

As far as sway bars I haven't upgraded them yet but I had been looking at them. I didn't know the stock ones were hollow though.

I've also got wheel hop like crazy once the tires start to catch grip after spinning. Is the fix for that an upgraded rear sway bar?

Update.....
I got the DRs on, calibrated the speedometer, and it was only showing .7mph off at 75mph just like my 22" set up per gps. So I tried to find a spot to do some test runs but as usually its a Saturday and cops and people are out like crazy. So I settled and made a couple of pulls around my neighborhood (not the best roads and only got up to 82 mph). After comparing my logs to 82mph it took 9.283 on the 22s and 8.951 on the Drag radials.

The problem I see with the log's now is that my shifts have moved downward because of the approx 3" difference in OD. Now I'm hitting 4th around 77-78mph where I was hitting it at 86mph..... Does anyone know how much this Is that gonna hurt me overall in the 1/4?

Anyway Here's a couple of screen shots of a start and finish log with my 22s up to 82mph

Here's a start and finish log with my DRs up to 82mph

As you can see I got out the hole much harder with the DRs but I did have issues hooking up but I'm sure with a burnout to get them warmed up I shouldn't have that problem but because of this when looking at my 0-60 time I was only .08 of a tenth faster. Overall to 82mph I gained .332 of a sec which should be much better when I get these DRs to hook.....I'll post a picture of the Drs on the truck in a little
