I love your truck more and more lol. Can you explain your shifting technique once again in detail so I'm not confused.

I wonder what you could make with a set of longtubes? Now you need gears lol.

Forgot you had the torque converter...
And what gearing? 3.55s?

Gonna be nice to see some legit track times on it!

Nice stuff there The Black Hemi! And for Real Estate Man; come on man, any motorhead knows that U.S. auto manufacturers list horsepower numbers at the crank bud. Imagine what the other trucks listing their horsepower at 350-370 horses. Probably down to 250-270 ponies.

That is true, hence the 15%-17%(2wd, FWD) or 20% (4wd, AWD) conversion factor to take the dyno numbers and figure up to crank HP. So, if anyone wonders why a 390 HP truck gets spanked by a 381 HP Tundra, there is most of the issue. I have not seen such a drastic disparity between claimed HP and actual HP before.

Those are peak hp numbers. They mean nothing. It's the whole powerband that is more important.

LOL. If that happens its driver error. I raced my buddy in his 5.7 Tundra and raped him every time.

Just set it in 3 in manual mode and you should shift like that....that's the simplest way to describe it without just showing you.

As far as longtubes I rather keep the extra grand and take the 10hp 15tq hit vs the shorty headers....JBA is coming out with some longtubes for half the (around $700) price so I just on those when they come out. They are saying they should have more info in 30-45 days but who really knows when that will be.

As Far a gears I have 3.92s and I don't plan swapping them out because I've seen/heard 4.56s actually don't run any faster because you might gain a little low end but you lose a lot of top end....That's why I have the TC for the low end grunt I don't think getting out the hole is an issue for me cutting a 0-60 in 5.33 secs on 22" wheels.

Yeah the only Turds spanking me are only the supercharged ones....who want's something you can't even tune

Yeah bro I don't mind letting you know when I hit the track up.....hell I'll let you be my camera man but seriously I just spanked (got him by a truck and a half to 95) a 6.2L silverado with a tune, cai, longtubes and he runs 13.8-13.9 at 98-99mph in the 1/4 so hopefully I can translate that to the track.

I think I'm gonna buy some 17" slicks or DRs for the rear and probably just use my 22s for the front (for now) so I can have an even better launch and hopefully I'll be able to cut at least 1.9-2secs flat in 60.
