I believe that the RER and the RHR radios have the Uconnect built into the radio. All other radios require a separate Uconnect module to have the hands free option. You will need the High Speed bus radio in your truck.

You will need to install a separate microphone with any radio you add. It will need to be wired to the RER or RHR radios, or for the other radios, to the separate Uconnect module.

If you get the nav radio, the RER will need a separate GPS antenna install for it, The RHR has one input for both the Sirius and GPS antennas. I also believe that beginning in 2011, the roof antenna is both the Sirius and GPS antenna.

ok i got the radio yesturday and did some more research and found out that i need a microphone also no big deal, but there is another jumper harness and i believe it also needs to be programed. you figure if i have sat. i don't need the nav antennna it is built in. every where i looked said they need a seperate antenna.

Not 100% sure about that radio but I don't know of any Nav radio that has the antenna built in the casing. What are the colors of the antenna connectors on the radio? Can you post a picture of the backside of the radio?

If you read what I wrote, the RER radio has 2 satellite connectors on the back, one for the GPS, and one for Sirius.. The RHR only has one satellite connector and uses a dual band roof mount antenna which I believe you already have on your truck. If you want to use that antenna with the GPS in the RER, you will need to make a signal splitter to join that antenna to the two inputs on the radio.

The separate GPS antenna mounts under the dash cover. This may be a cheaper option than the splitter.

You can always go to oemautopartsco.com to see what antennas/microphones they offer.
