Just a dumb question - you're looking at Miles Per Gallon, and not Liters per 100km, right?

Just a thought - because I just noticed you're from canada. 15l/100km is about 18.8 mpg, which is decent and reasonable highway MPG.

The lower number of liters/100km, the better your fuel mileage is. I know is sounds backwards, but it isn't. 10 liters /100 km is worse than 5 liters / 100km, because you used twice the fuel for the same distance.

That's a great pickup!

You may just be correct.

We'll see....

Ah well, it was worth a shot....

You are correct with your figures, CherryRam.

Let us know the outcome.

Hopefully this week sometime. I need to take it in and have my stereo programmed anyways. Maybe they can take a look at my fuel economy at the same time. 700 a month in fuel cost is a bit more than I had bargained for when I bought the truck. Plus I can't imagine it's healthy for the truck if it's being such a pig. My exhaust tips were black within a month of buying it which seemed odd to me.
