hmm if that the case would an axle washer put on the back side of the axle before it goes into the wheel bearing help correct this? wouldnt it push the axle back just a little bit. next time i got free down time at work i might try this

I was thinking about that since the threads for the axle are ridiculously long. Only problem you may start to get into is having to slide the abs ring back into position for the abs sensor to pick up.

i dont recall an abs ring on my front cv joints. i believe there in the bearing.

Now I'm absolutely in frustration mode about this shudder situation.

I just got a quote today for Bilstein 5100s, but I'm not doing anything until there is more understanding of what is going on with this shudder that people keep reporting.

Why would Bilstein develop a product that causes this unwanted result on these vehicles?

even non leveled ram have the shudder in 4x4 mode but some lucky ones dont have this shudder at all leveled and non leveled. but its a luck of the draw.

Hi... I just bought a 2010 TRX4, and I've been thinking of leveling it with Bilsteins 5100... but I'm hesitant due to the shudder in 4X4.

Did you have any chance to test the spacers?

2011 outdoorsman 2.5 procomp level shudders in 4hi on highway only form 40-60 km/h def cv axle angle didnt do it til i leveled her out

35" toyo MT tires with 0 offset 17" rims.

No shudder so far... only 1500KMs since install.
