Default cowl hood.

I recently had an idea of making a cowl hood out of a spare I have. I think with some cutting, welding and fiberglass work it might just work. If anyone has seen anything similar please let me know.

slimpartywagon will become famous soon enough

I did this exact same thing to my 81 Ford Curior show truck back in the day, No one offered a Cowl Hood for it, so I made my own... try number 4 I finally got it right... instead of cutting patch pieces out of the old hood, use the whole hood cut out the shape you want the cowl to be on three sides, leaving the front edge in tact. Then bend the cut out piece to the desired angle. Next make a card board template of the gaps, and use it to cut out two pieces of filler panel plates. Weld the filler panels in, and smooth out with bondo.
