Default Big 3 Recommendations

First off, new to the site and wanted to say looks like there is a ton of good info on here.
Looking to do my first mods and thought the big 3 is the right place to start. Been looking at the K & N 63 Series Intake system, the Diablo Sport T1000, and the Magnaflow # 16869 Cat-Back. Am I on the right track here, are those good choices. Any input would appreciated and/or other recomendations. Thanks

I think you're on the right track. All very good mods.

Take a look at the S&B CAI system instead of the K&N.

Thanks guys. Its possible to choose between a 14", 18", and 22" muffler if I buy the Magnaflow right?

The Magnaflow cat back only comes with a 24" muffler. Unless you are getting it for the 5" tips, just changing the muffler would probably be just as good.
There is a y-pipe up front that should be replaced.

So I'm just wasting my money by buying the full magnaflow kit? Just buy the Y-pipe and which ever muffler I want and I'll be good?

Back to the cai, vararam or S&B? I understand that the s&b will sound better by design but the vararam does look pretty cool too. Can't decide which way to go. An imput would be appreciated. Thanks again.

If I just end up getting a cai and the magnaflow, either y pipe and muffler or a true dual, will I cause any ill effects by running these without the tune for the time being? Will I run lean?

Not enough that the PCM wont compensate. Adding a lower tstat will richen up a tad though.
