I saw a jeep that had t his the guy had done the whole thing including the inside it looked great out in the mud but not a road driver any more. If your just looking for a good work truck look it would be good, as for amount I would see how much paint a body shop would use to paint it then add a few extra and you should be close

I used a hurculiner kit and one gallon was good for 2 coats. It probably would be better with a third but i dont use the bed all that much.

Sorry for the late post, I haven't quite decided since I have never seen how the bedliner looks in person and I sure as hell don't want to be the first to try it out. If anybody has any other ideas for paint options let me know as I have the infamous dodge paint job that has the clear coat fading. Thanks

Search 50 dollar paint job. I did my jeep a few years ago. Slow process but excellent results. I actually had a paint guy tell me I was lying about painting it with a roller. Spend about 75 bucks on it

Wow the $50 paint job is very impressive and I'm going to buy a cheap tailgate since mine is beat up and give it a try. One quick question is what is orange peel that they talk about?
