Default MPG with 392 gears

Looking to order an 2013 Sport Hemi with 392 gears, my dealer cant tell me what the MPG is going to be, i need to know the real world numbers, not the factor sales sheet B S. Also need to know max tow capacity dealer tells me 10,400 # but only in 2x4 combo i want a 4x4 crew cab.

Can't help you with towing numbers but I imagine it should be the same as last year.

As far as real world MPG's I have 3.92s and with the winter blend of gas I average 15 MPG city and I am very good about getting off the pedal. I average roughly 19-20 at 70+ and 20-21 60-65mph. In the summer it goes up about 1 MPG or so.

I have a 4x2 Ram and my only mods that should effect MPG are my custom exhaust and my K&N drop in filter if they do anything at all. I like to think my Ram averages better than average MPG.

From what I have read the 3.92 actually get better than the 3.55 die to being able to stay in ECO mode longer. I have 3.55 and wish I would have went to 3.92 or 4.10.

expect 17 to 18 mpg with a 4X4 & 3:55s, because of the weight, you will be at 6300 pounds
your in snow country, get the 3.92 rear end with LSD & be happy
the front wheel drive will just make your Ram more stable

My 12 crew gets 14-15 MPG city commuting and closer to 19-20 on the highway... unloaded and relatively flat terrain.... but when I tow my 6000 lb boat in the mountains.... it can drop to 8MPG on the big hills.... No shortage of power tho.....

again, not the perfect answer, but I have a 12, bighorn crew 4X2 crew cab with LSD & .392 and I get 15.9 on daily driving.

I tow a 7,000 lb. camper and get up to 11.5 in winter (no A/C) and about 10 in summer towing with A/C on.

Towing capacity goes down about 200 lbs. when you add 4x4

I have a fully loaded Laramie Crew 4x4, w/3.92 rear end, I Have been hand calculating my gas mileage since August. View attachment. I simply put in date, kilometers at fillup, litres to fill, and it calculates MPG, averages, Best, worst, etc. And its color co-ordinated for a quickview, Red=Bad, Yellow=OK, Green=Good. The O/C SYN. means Oil Change Synthetic.

I hope mine goes that way, but right now, with ~2500 miles on it, my numbers are about 2/3 of what yours are, and I DO NOT hot rod it.

You can see by my spreadsheet, the #'s ain't too good so far .
