Default Is there a governor on the 4.7 motor ?

I got on the highway in my truck for the first time and when passing someone I was at a little bit over 100 mph and then the engine seemed to slow down...?...it ran fine after, however I am worried about the jolt back or slow down...?....please help, Thanks, Bryan

Yup...even the 03 hemi was 105 limited (tires). Get a programmer, just make sure your tires are speed rated for as fast as you're trying to go. Blowing a tire over 100 mph would suck. Hell, blowing a tire at 55 sucked.
