I'm willing to bet you have either a cracked head or a blown head gasket. You will not necessarily have coolant in the oil. All that smoke is the coolant burning off.

I would pull the plugs first and see if any are wet or look odd. Then I would do a compression test. That will narrow down which cylinder is having the issue. That way you will only have to pull one side and not both. Although it may be on both sides anyway. I wouldn't drive it much if at all till I got it checked out. It could end up costing way more to fix.

First choice is a chemical test to see if combustion gasses are getting into the cooling system. Second is to to a cylinder leak down test. Not only will this confirm a leak, but will also tell you where it's coming from.

If it were me, I would do both if a head or gasket problem is indicated. As for what to buy next, I would suggest a Ram with a Hemi.

My head gaskets blew at 80,000 miles, again at 131,00 miles, and now again at 140,000 miles. 4.7s seem to have a bad problem with this. Every mechanic that Ive talked to says its a flaw that happens regularly. Mine has been adult driven and serviced by the book since it had 7 miles on it.
