For those of you not willing to wait for the OEM Controller, ETrailer.com now has a kit to install in a 2013 Ram:

Tekonsha 3023-P Plug & Play brake control harness
30232-P Stop lamp drive adapter

Both of the part numbers listed above are available in a complete kit, Tekonsha 30231-P

I was recommended to use the Tekonsha P3 Controller with the above adapters for my application if Chrysler doesn't follow through with my order.

The following is copied from an email I received:

The electrical system on the 2013 Ram 1500 has changed. The 2013 Ram 1500 has “Powernet” and utilizes multiplex wiring that is different from previous models. Although the brake control connector is physically the same as the 2010-2012, the wire functions have changed. The terminal that used to be the stop light signal, now has battery voltage whenever the ignition is in the run position.
When installing a Cequent in-cab aftermarket brake control into the 2013 Ram 1500, you will need to use the Tekonsha 3023-P Plug & Play brake control harness. See page 2 for installation instructions.
Note: To ensure compliance with California regulations on stop light drive, you must also use the additional kit 30232-P. Failure to ensure compliance with California regulations may result in independent liability for the user. The 30232-P is a stop lamp drive adapter that is installed at the 7-way connector.

Note: The 3023-P Plug & Play brake control harness applies to Cequent brand brake controls only.

WARNING!! Any attempt to install an aftermarket brake control into the vehicle without using the 3023-P Plug & Play brake control harness listed above, may cause severe damage to the vehicle’s electrical system or electrical components!

Cequent® In-Cab Brake Controls –
All the following Cequent Brake Controls Will Not Work On The 2013 Ram 1500, Pod, Pilot, Activator III, and the Brakeman Ultra.

I hope this information helps.

Ive got a Tekonsha P3 im selling for 125 bucks if anyone is interested. Very lightly used. Pulled it out of my tahoe when i traded it in for my ram which has the tbc built in. Youll still have to order the ram harness off etrailer or wire the universal one it came with yourself.

The part numbers are listed earlier in this thread along with a link to where the pictures are for the connectors. If you have the 4 and 7 pin connectors on the rear bumper you probably have the connectors under the dash but look for them.
Some dealers say they can't install them yet because Ram has not released an accessory kit to do it but if you have the truck wiring it can be done.
Look at post #25 and #38
I had the dealer install and program it for $150 labor.

BTW, is that you from A-Body?

Yes that is me, pretty much if you see plumcrazy73 on any forum dealing with MOPARS or Cleveland Browns that is me. I have that name on several forums.

Does anyone know the type of technology used in the integrated brake controller? From what I recall there a two technologies, timed and inertial. Timed simply increases the trailer brake signal over a user changeable time interval. Inertial will increase (or decrease) the trailer brake signal based on how much you are deacellerating (I.e. how hard you push on brake pedal). The timer type is an on/off technology in that if u push on brake heavy soft heavy soft and dont actually take foot off brake pedal at all the trailer brake signal just keeps getting stonger...where as the inertial type it will actually increase decrease increase decrease the trailer brake signal.
My first controller was a $110 Reese timer technology controller, used it for two years and hated it. Sold it last year and bought a $230 Prodigy ineetial technology controller and I love it (greatest thin in the world compared to old one).
Now just bought 2013 SLT without trailer controller. Considering selling Prodigy and buying integrated accesssory pkg but ONLY if it is inertial type.
Anyone have details, specs, manual on integrated controller?

2013 ram ITBM kit (intergrated trailer brake module) Part # 82213474 .
If you need one make sure your dealer orders it or have them look for a dealer that has one in stock! After waiting over 2 1/2 months and finding another dealer had one in stock. I called my dealer with the information and he told me that could not be possibe as the part was not availabe until June. I said call the dealer I talked to and call me back. Amazed as he was the part will be install this Monday.
Never give up!! This is what these forums are all about.

Just connected my trailer up to it today and it works perfect.
Besides being able to adjust how aggressive the trailer brakes are applied it also sends a variable signal to the trailer brakes based on how hard you are pushing the brake pedal in the truck.
While siting stopped you can push the brake pedal at different pressures and watch the signal increase and decrease on the Evic screen.
