Default Need help with Tranny and A/C

Hi all, I am searching for a simple answer here! I have 99 Ram 2500 4x4 (auto) w/5.9 cummins. It recently started shifting up and down while driving up the road? I replaced the Transmission Output Shaft Speed Sensor (trouble code P0715 & RT Code 10149) and it worked for about 2 days? Dang sensor may be bad ..ok.. but when I hit the brakes hard the A/C blows hot? Can it be a vacuum line or pump? And is the sensor the problem here?? Help Please!!!

Default tranny shifting lockup

are you still having an issue with the shifting? we have different trucks, and your tranny is all electronic, but if it is shifting in and out of lockup, then i have an idea for you. mine was doing that, and after spending $3000 on a rebuild, it still did. i would get the trans temp light on and off, and when it came on, it would shift out of lockup - a royal pita on the highway. turns out it was the in-line temp sensor. i removed it and put in a sending unit for a gauge. to clear the idiot light from the dash, i used a 8K resistor jumpered across the stock harness. this shows the computer that the tranny is up to temp, to allow it to use lockup. during the winter, i turn off the OD to ensure that it will not use lockup until it has actually warmed up.
as for the AC, not a clue what would cause it to blow hot air when hitting the brakes. if it were vacuum, i think the only climate control using vacuum are the dampers, so it would not change the temp, just where the air is going.

I was and still am having the same issue. What I mean by that is that my transmission was jumping in and out of lock-up. I did all you could imagine including a transmission rebuild. Still having problems. Finally, after all that, I replaced my transmission temperature sensor. WOW!!! That was the answer. But, now at times, my transmission will not go into overdrive at all and the a/c will not work at the same time. I am clueless about this issue. Either both work or both doesn't work. What's the problem? Is there something that controls both?
