I have a 2012 ram 1500, I am looking at getting the hell bent 2.5 leveling kit as well as the kmc xd series spy wheel that are 20x9. Im curious has anyone had any problems with leveling kits and also what size tires would work best for this?
nope that should be perfect. mine rubs a little bit on the fender, would only take a little bit of trimming to not rub, but im pretty sure -12 wouldnt rub at all, you could go with a slightly smaller tire,
I am from the early 80's where we leveled our trucks with sky jacker 6 inch lift kits, 40 inch mudders and chain ladders to climb in the cab. Today Its for quality, appearance, pride. Oh and riding without slopping half your coffee out of the sippy opening of your dunkin cup. My question. Is ? I see a lot of mention of leveling kits. Is the main reason for clearence?
Main reason is for clearance and aesthetics, some people dont like the look of a forward rake, i like my trucks nose as high as the back, just looks better.
i plan on putting a lift kit later on, levelling kits temporary i think
