Default MDS Vibration

I have a crew cab Hemi 4x4 from an 05 GMC extended cab.The "6" speed is the biggest difference for me. I had the 4 speed in the GMC down to a science. I could coax 17-18 out of that by being light on the gas. But that's for another thread.

My issue is that when I try to feather the gas after cruising it seems to be in the wrong gear and vibrates quite a bit. If I run it without the MDS it doesn't do it at all. So basically with the gear selection in 6 it is fine. Does anyone know if there is a software update for this? I haven't called the dealer yet since I have another vehicle in for service and I cannot get this in right now. Any other thoughts.

Otherwise absolutely glad I made the move to Dodge and I am loving the Hemi.

mds when loaded will vibrate slightly it just because its only running on 4 cyl u will find that if u just drive it normal instad of watching the light it will only do that right before it kicks out these truck are not meant to make power in mds i never feel mine vibrate in mds un less its loaded and about to kick out of mds.if find that the more i try to keep it in mds and lug it trough my milage gets worse if i drive it easy and just let mds do its thing i rarely notice the mds vibration. i think a tuner will be the only way to turn it off other than using tow\haul or "6"

+1 with PostalTwo. When everything is locked up at a certain speed and MDS is on its just like lugging a 4cyl with manual trans.

Thanks.. I kind of figured it was normal just something I have to get used to. Lovin the truck though. Way more power and no problem towing the camper with the family.
