Default Improve ride on 2006 ram 2500

I have a 2006 Dodge Ram 2500 quad cab. I am looking for information on how to soften the ride. I have installed AirLift 5000# air bags on the rear but this did not help the ride of the truck.

There probably isn't much you can do. The hd trucks ride like covered Wagons. You could get lighter spring rates and softer socks and run your tires on the lower end of the normal range but all of that will compromise your load capacity and towing. Springs rated for more weight, even air Springs, are inherently stiffer to compensate for the added weight

if you rrunning air bags and you want to soften it when your not towing or carrying weight run less air in the bags. also look at the type of tires your running. how many plies and if they are a/t or m/t. low profile tires need more air pressure over a normal truck type tire with tall sidewalls. that can affect the ride greatly.
