I have the same problem with my truck not starting.. Get this. No engine swap, 6speed Manual 3.7L. I don't know if this has to deal with it but I have a nice ring of trans fluid that is sprayed on the under carriage where the drive shaft connects to the end of the transmission.. When I decide to go to start it (sometimes) it makes a sound of teeth grinding against teeth.. After doing that a couple of times it just doesn't do anything.. like I'll go to crank it and it wont make a sound.. I'll wait 20ish minutes and crank it and it'll turn over.. Need some help (yes the clutch is pressed in the entire time....)
