I would not get any spray in other than linex or rhino. They are the only two that are known all over the country and will likely be around and in business in 10 years to honor a warranty. I got linex because they seem bigger, more stable of a company. Supposedly their product is a little better than rhino too, but I'm sure they are both more than good enough for my use. I love my linex, I think it was $450.

When I bought my 03 ram in 06 the dealer had just installed a LineX coating. I had no experience with it in the past. I love the stuff.
However, after 7 years, it was starting to gray out a little. It wasn't too bad, but you could tell it wasn't as black as it used to be.
That being said, I would not hesitate to buy it again.
The 09 Laramie I just bought already has a spray in liner, not sure what brand? Could that have been done at the factory? or after market?

Just got my truck bed coated with Reflex spray in bedliner a couple weeks ago. The guys did an awesome job....3 guys spent almost 10 hours on my truck doing it right. Hand sanded the bed with 2 different grits of sandpaper, then put about 14-18 coatings on (about 1/4" thick in most areas). It has great traction so my gear doesn't slide all around my bed when I hit the gas and brake. That was a big selling point for me. Comes with a lifetime warranty, and has UV protectors to keep it from fading. You can also get it color matched to you trucks paint color, although most recommend sticking with the black for the UV fade protection. The shop that did it for me used to spray the Rhino products. He saved up the money and made the switch to Reflex bacause he had faith in it being a much better product. I never heard of Refex before my dealership and Truck-N-Stuff referred me to them, but I love the product. With that said, I couldn't tell you how it compares to Rhino and LineX. The Reflex liner cost me $489, so it sounds close to others.

I've seen the reflex product before. Looks decent, although adhesion seemed worse than the linex ones I've had. It seemed like you could peel it off if you wanted to at the edges(as if it were tape). Also they are not as large a company.

As for the linex fading, yes it will(the regular one), but you can use the protectant/cleaner once or twice a year and it looks like new.

Speedliner is solvent based (like the DIY products). The solvent is ethyl acetate which is EXTREMELY dangerous. Speedliner requires a primer which also has EA in it. It's usually applied thin and with a hopper gun (not the preferred high pressure). I know this because I knew a Speedliner dealer that was shut down by OSHA.

Black bedliners don't really hold heat very much. If you're in Arizona, you really should consider LINE-X Premium so it won't fade.

OK, thanks. I guess I'll save up for line-x then....

Scorpion is great because you can actually do it yourself and it turns out really well for cheap. line-X and Rhino are prolly better but for the price you cant beat scorpion. I wanted to rhino line my whole truck cause ive seen jeeps done like that and it looks awesome but couldnt find a rhino liner dealer around here. We did have line-x but they quoted me $3,500 to do a truck! So i went the scorpion route and payed just under $600 for red and black bedliner and their hopper gun and did it myself and im pleased with the results. just another option for ya il include a pic of how it turned out

If you are taking your truck to get it done I suggest Line-X. But if you are like me, I prefer doing things myself so I used Herculiner. It's good quality stuff. I abuse the bed of my truck and it's held up great. I will need to reapply it soon though (I've had it for about 2 years).
