Did they do something about how flimsy it seems to be when installed? My buddies is loose as a goose. Lack of brackets it seems, thats his major complaint.

It is a really tight fit when you shut the hood. Take off the grill and shut the hood and see if you can move it around.

My comment was based on how it felt with the hood open. Guess as long as it is tight when the hood is closed thats what matters.

Do you have to cut or remove the stock cover from the radiator to the inside of the grill?
On some pictures it looks like cover is removed and on others it looks like its trimmed and on others its still installed?
Looks Sweet!!!

You have to remove it. You can either leave it off or trim it.

The intake does very well in heavy rain and high winds, heavy mudding or
heavy snow...........don't know, time will tell. As far as the OEM shroud
(front radiator cover), can trim and keep or go without. The intake is
tight with the hood closed......MPG is slightly better, about 1, throttle
response and good all fashion ass haulin has improved......Overall worth
the coin!

I ordered one last week, and Steve said this batch should be ready a day or two after Christmas, maybe right before. Pics as soon as possible, including a retro decal idea.
